Juan Pablo Angel - MLS June Player of the Month
Red Bull New York striker Juan Pablo Angel has been named June MLS Player of the Month
for the second straight time.Angel has scored six goals in the past five games,
even though he’s only been playing in the MLS for two months.

Overall,Angel scored nine goals in eight games, while in the MLS.
He’s also a New York Red Bull record setter, and was only one goal off
in setting a new MLS record for scoring in six straight games. Angel has also been selected
for the MLS First XI, and he is the player who received the most votes.
He’s one of MLS’ new rising stars, after coming over from Aston Villa.

Hm…..Angel was an Aston Villa discard. Wonder why EPL players are attracted to MLS so much - money? Probably. Its not fame - there just isn’t more fame at MLS than EPL.

I don’t think it’s the money. Beckham is the highest paid MLS player. Average MLS salary is around 52 thousand a year, which is pennies compared to the EPL.

i think that Aston Villa made a huge mistake selling Pablo Angel, they didnt give him chance to play more games, he has such protential, he will be greatly missed at Villa Park.
