With their backs against the wall when it comes to making the MLS Cup Playoffs, FC Dallas did something they haven't done often in 2008 -- play with a true sense of urgency. The end result was a 3-0 win against D.C. United on Sunday afternoon at Pizza Hut Park.

For a team that was beginning to feel the heat of teams behind it in the chase for the MLS Cup Playoffs and urgently in need of points, D.C. United looked like a completely different club on Sunday. Flat for much of the first half, United found themselves down 1-0 at the halftime break.

In a season full of injuries and changes to the starting lineup, it seemed only fitting that the latest entrant would help provide Chivas USA with three points.
The Kansas City Wizards dominated Chivas USA for much of the second half of their match Saturday night at The Home Depot Center.
Real Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis wasn't smiling after his team rallied to beat the San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 Saturday night at Buck Shaw Stadium, but he had every right to be.
A 59th minute free kick by Javier Morales was the difference as Real Salt Lake snapped their two-game losing streak, beating the San Jose Earthquakes 3-2 Saturday night at Buck Shaw Stadium.
