Kansas City Wizards Tie LA Galaxy 2-2
Last night, the Kansas City Wizards battled Los Angeles Galaxy,
with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.
The Wizards took advantage of the mistakes that the Galaxy defense made,
and went up 2-0 as the second period started.Yura Movsisyan took advantage
of Chris Klein’s passing mistake, and shot it in only one minute into the second half.
Just a few minutes later, Davy Arnaud capitalized on Cannon’s mistake and shot
the ball in the empty net.
Jones scored both goals for Los Angeles Galaxy, only 14 minutes apart. He came on off
the bench, with fresh legs in the second half.In the 61st minute, he scored a goal
after getting the ball from Carlos Pavon. Landon Donovan assisted Jones 14 minutes later,
for the equalizer.
The Kansas City Wizards are third in the Eastern Conference, trailing by just 1 point.
Los Angeles Galaxy is second last in the Western Conference, with only 13 points this season.
