Over the last three seasons, it was almost expected that FC Dallas would make the playoffs. In fact, heading into this campaign, only twice in club history had the Hoops missed out on the postseason.

Drew Moor and Victor Sikora scored in a five-minute span in the first half to give FC Dallas the lead, but the Los Angeles Galaxy got a late equalizer from Landon Donovan as the teams ended their 2008 seasons with a 2-2 draw at The Home Depot Center on Sunday afternoon.

On Sunday afternoon at The Home Depot Center, FC Dallas will face the Los Angeles Galaxy in a matchup featuring two teams that will not advance to the MLS Cup Playoffs. Many might call it a meaningless affair but don't say that to the Hoops, who are treating their final installment of the 2008 season as another big game.

FC Dallas's Bobby Rhine announced Wednesday that he will retire from professional soccer following the team's last game of this season on Sunday, Oct. 26 at the LA Galaxy. Rhine, who has played his entire 10-year career with FC Dallas, is one of only 17 players in League history to have played at least 200 games for one team.
