One position where FC Dallas is squared away is at goalkeeper. Veteran Dario Sala is entrenched as the starter and it appears that third-year 'keeper Ray Burse will be his backup. That leaves the question of the status of 19-year-old Josh Lambo.

Following Friday morning's 3-0 defeat to Houston at Robertson Stadium, FC Dallas head coach Schellas Hyndman called his side's performance an eye-opener. The Hoops boss was a bit taken aback at his squad letting in three goals, especially considering that most of his focus during the first few weeks of preseason training has been on the defensive side of the ball.

In the opening of preseason action for both teams, the Houston Dynamo defeated in-state rival FC Dallas 3-0 on Friday at Robertson Stadium, getting the better of each period as the match was divided into three 30-minute sections.
