CONCACAF Champions League play continued yesterday with Deportivo Saprissa defeating CD Marathon 2-1 in Group A. After a scoreless first half, Marathon converted a penalty kick to take the lead early in the second half. But the home team scored two goals in the final 21 minutes to top the Honduran team.
