United frustrated with pallid display

Lightning, thunder, torrential rains, power failures -- with one freak occurrence after another prompting a whopping three delays over three separate fixture dates, D.C. United and Houston Dynamo could be forgiven for wondering if some higher power was intent on preventing them from playing their only league match of the season at RFK Stadium.

United drop delayed decision to Dynamo

After two aborted tries on previous dates, D.C.United and the Houston Dynamo finally completed the first of their two league meetings on Wednesday night -- and some of Thursday morning, too -- as the Dynamo secured a workmanlike 2-0 win that took nearly five hours to complete thanks to torrential thunderstorms.

United to host Latin American Festival

D.C. United has announced plans to host the third annual Latin American Festival before the Black-and-Red's game against Kansas City on Saturday, August 2nd at 7:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. The event is sponsored by RCN and will give fans a great opportunity to celebrate the culture, music and sport of Latin America.

United-Dynamo makeup postponed

Due to power outages in southeast Washington, D.C. including RFK Stadium, tonight's D.C. United match versus the Houston Dynamo has been postponed. The game will now take place tomorrow evening - Wednesday, July 23 - at 7:30 p.m. ET.

D.C. eager to shake SuperLiga funk

The Black-and-Red are approaching Tuesday's rescheduled league match with Houston as an opportunity for a fresh start, hopeful that their sudden SuperLiga funk disappears.

United, Dynamo get together for make-up

D.C. United and the Houston Dynamo meet for the second time in four days, this time a second chance at a game that was originally abandoned after just 19 minutes on June 4.

D.C. United Academy update: July 21

D.C. United Academy's Paul Torres was named to the Under-15/16 Academy Starting XI for his performance in the inaugural U.S. Soccer Development Academy. The 16-year-old midfielder was voted to the team by Development Academy coaches and National Team scouts.
