From the chill winds of Columbus to the warm breezes of Guadalajara. That's the trip that Jonathan Bornstein and Sacha Kljestan made Thursday as they rejoined their Chivas USA teammates for preseason camp, following the U.S. national team's World Cup qualifier Wednesday night at Crew Stadium.

Chivas USA fell 3-1 to Tapatío, Chivas de Guadalajara's Primera 'A' side, in a tightly contested MLS preseason scrimmage this morning on Field 2 of the Multigol complex adjacent to Chivas de Guadalajara's Verde Valle training center.

Chivas USA held its second full day of training this morning at the Multigol complex in Guadalajara, during which Preki took the opportunity to prepare his squad for tomorrow's scrimmage vs. Tapatío, Chivas de Gudalajara's Primera 'A' (second-tier) side.

Chivas USA is currently in Guadalajara for its first preseason trip to Mexico since 2005, the club's inaugural year, training at the Multigol complex adjacent to the Verde Valle complex that is home to Mexican partner club Chivas de Guadalajara.

Chivas USA has officially announced that midfielder Sacha Kljestan, U.S. Soccer's 2008 Young Male Athlete of the Year and Chivas USA's reigning team MVP, will return to the Red-and-White for the 2009 MLS season, which kicks off on March 21.
