Chicago Fire Hires Osorio as New Coach
Chicago Fire has brought Juan Carlos Osorio back to the MLS by
hiring him as their new coach. He will replace former Fire coach
Dave Sarachan, who was fired from the team last month.
Osorio made his MLS debut in 2000 with the MetroStars, as an assistant manager.
He then moved on to Manchester City, and in 2006 he became the manager of Millonarios.
Osorio will start on Monday. The Fire will play against Toronto FC this Saturday, with interim Denis Hamlett coaching Chicago for this game.
