When the New York Red Bulls acquired Argentine Juan Pietravallo earlier in the year from Veria FC in Greece, Head Coach Juan Carlos Osorio envisioned performances exactly like the one he had in their scoreless draw with D.C. United Saturday night.

It was only two weeks ago that FC Dallas traveled to Crew Stadium, took an early 1-0 lead over Columbus only to fall 2-1 to the Black and Gold.
A timely header from San Jose Earthquakes forward Darren Huckerby in the 83rd minute proved to be the difference Saturday as the Kansas City Wizards suffered a tough 2-1 defeat at Buck Shaw Stadium.

Maybe, finally, hopefully, Los Angeles might have turned the corner. The pesky unbeaten streak reached ten games after a 2-2 draw in New England, but that wasn't the point.

Los Angeles picked up a vital point in its quest for a playoff berth with a 2-2 draw against New England at Gillette Stadium on Saturday night. Landon Donovan scored twice for the Galaxy.
