Fresh off a season-opening 2-0 victory over rival D.C. United last Saturday, the Wizards will play Colorado Rapids this Saturday, April 5 at 7 p.m. CT at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.

Weekly Update: RSL hit the road

After gaining a point out of last Saturday's season opener against Chicago, Real Salt Lake (0-0-1, 1 pt.) will take to the road for the first time in the young MLS season this Saturday, April 5, when Utah's side will head to The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. for an 8:30 p.m. MT kick-off against Chivas USA (0-0-1, 1 pt.).

The Chicago Fire (0-0-1, 1 pt.) host their 2008 home opener against New England (1-0-0, 3 pts.) on Thursday, April 3 at TOYOTA PARK. Kickoff for the re-match of the 2007 Eastern Conference Championship is set for 7:30 p.m. (CDT).

Lambo sidelined six to eight weeks

FC Dallas has confirmed that rookie and Generation adidas goalkeeper Josh Lambo sustained a concussion and fractured jaw during Sunday's Reserve Division contest against Chivas USA. The 17-year old will have surgery today to repair the fractures and is expected to be released from the hospital on Tuesday. He is expected to be out of action for at least 6-8 weeks.

United Drives to collect toys in April

D.C. United announced plans to collect toys throughout of the month of April to benefit the Children's National Medical Center and The Children's Center. Each month during the 2008 Major League Soccer season, D.C. United will collect items at every home game to benefit pre-determined non-profit organizations within the Washington, D.C. area.

Hoops opener ravaged by injuries

Heading into the season opener against Chivas USA, the Hoops lost the services of both 19-year-old forward Ricardinho and starting left wingback David Wagenfuhr.

TFC fan pilgrimage inspires players

"It was amazing." That's how Toronto FC captain Jim Brennan described the support the team received at the season opener in Columbus. Over 2400 TFC supporters made the journey to back the team and they turned Crew Stadium into a sea of red.
