FC Dallas heads to Brazil today, where the team will train and play four preseason games. While in Brazil, the team will primarily stay and train at Brazilian partner Clube Atletico Paranaense's Training Center and Hotel in Curitiba, Brazil. FCD will return to Dallas on March 11.

Toronto FC announced Friday that the team has acquired midfielder Kevin Harmse from the Los Angeles Galaxy, in exchange the Galaxy will receive Toronto's fourth round pick in the 2009 MLS SuperDraft.

Boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya vowed to fight for a new stadium for the Houston Dynamo when he and the Brener International Group were announced as equity partners with owner Anschutz Entertainment Group at a rally in Jones Plaza Friday afternoon.

As a freshman in high school, Dynamo Academy prospect Cody Lofgren is already one of the top players on his high school team. Of course, Kingwood Park High School only has freshmen and sophomores, but Lofgren has shined playing against juniors and seniors, too.
