New England Revolution Beats New York Red Bulls 1-0

The 25-year-old England native, Andy Dorman scored a goal for
the New England Revolution, beating the New York Bulls 1-0 on Saturday
night.

The Revs are now one ahead of the Kansas City Wizards, as well as
DC United and New York.

Last night, the Kansas City Wizards battled Los Angeles Galaxy,

with the match ending in a 2-2 draw.

The Wizards took advantage of the mistakes that the Galaxy defense made,

Houston Dynamo Beats Red Bulls 4-0 at Home

Former 2006 MLS champions, Huston Dynamo, gained another victory against

the New York Red Bulls. Dynamo, who’s had a winning streak for the past seven games,

sent the Bulls packing with a 4-0 win.

Chicago Fire Hires Osorio as New Coach

Chicago Fire has brought Juan Carlos Osorio back to the MLS by

hiring him as their new coach. He will replace former Fire coach

Dave Sarachan, who was fired from the team last month.
Osorio made his MLS debut in 2000 with the MetroStars, as an assistant manager.

Juan Pablo Angel - MLS June Player of the Month

Red Bull New York striker Juan Pablo Angel has been named June MLS Player of the Month
for the second straight time.Angel has scored six goals in the past five games,
even though he’s only been playing in the MLS for two months.

Overall,Angel scored nine goals in eight games, while in the MLS.
He’s also a New York Red Bull record setter, and was only one goal off
in setting a new MLS record for scoring in six straight games. Angel has also been selected
for the MLS First XI, and he is the player who received the most votes.
He’s one of MLS’ new rising stars, after coming over from Aston Villa.

FC Dallas Defeats Chivas 2-0

FC Dallas defeated Chivas with an impressive 2-0 win, on Independence Day.

Dallas scored in both halves, with Nunez shooting a curve ball in the 41st minute, and Oduro scoring in the 80th minute.

Dallas is now first in the Western Conference, towering Houston Dynamo by 6 points.

Toronto FC ties Kansas City Wizards 1-1

Toronto FC tied 1-1 against the Kansas Wizards on Sunday night, thanks to a goal by Danny Dichio in the second half of the game.
Unfortunately, this still left Toronto FC without any wins while playing away from home.
Michael Harrington scored for the Wizards in the 18th minute, but that was the last of the goals for the Wizards.

David Beckham’s MLS Arrival

Good news for MLS team Galaxy who will be joined by England’s David Beckham on July 13. MLS fans have been anxiously awaiting Beckham’s arrival to the MLS.

Tim Leiweke, president of Anschutz Entertainment will be accompanied by MLS commissioner Don Garber, along with Alexi Lalas, Galaxy manager and LA coach Frank Yallop to the news conference.

Chicago Fire Looking For New Coach

Chicago Fire coach Dave Sarachan was fired from the team last
month and now rumours are pouring in that the MLS team will
be up for sale in the upcoming months.

Rumours of a local group’s desire to buy the team has made
interim coach Denis Hamlett’s job very hard. Hemlett is
considered as a canditate to replace Sarachan on a permanent basis.
